Lack of proxy support makes it useless to me. I'm using tweetbar but as I hate using the Firefox sidebar I'd really like to be able to use Twitteroo.

The word "Transparency" is still misused in the preferences. It should say "Opacity" with default setting of 100%, or default setting of 0% if it remains as "Transparency.)

Um ... pressing Enter does not post my Tweet, and the status box still accepts line breaks. Yes, I confirmed that I'm running 1.5.

I've noted that the transparency change must be made. It's true the way currently operates is misleading. We'll look into the carriage return problem, proxy support, and other upgrades on my list. More changes will be out shortly –as soon as we have a free moment!– so get other requests in now :)

Still got this error while starting:
<em>EventType : clr20r3 P1 : twitteroo.exe P2 : 1.5.0.42521
P3 : 4609f103 P4 : twitteroo P5 : 1.5.0.42521 P6 : 4609f103
P7 : 29 P8 : 0 P9 : system.nullreferenceexception</em>
I've installed .NET Framework 2.0, and 3.0, what's wrong with that?

At some point even rudimentary proxy support *needs* to be added, even if it's just based on whatever IE uses.

It's one of the single most demanded features..

I'm not seeing any error messages, but for the past couple days, all my various installations (home and work) simply say Loading... They never update or get messages, though I do now have the Steve Jobs welcome message.

Also, need OpenID login support for comments :)

Hi everyone,

If you experience Twitteroo saying "Loading..." for a long time that means that Twitter.com is not responding. During the day Twitter can be pretty slow and at times down all together. I will make it a little more obvious in the new version as to what's going on when Twitter.com isn't responding.

New versions of Twitteroo will be announced on www.twitter.com/twitteroo!

POPOEVER and anyone else experiencing that error, would someone email me a screenshot of the crash? That's something that I have not been able to replicate here and would like to fix.

I'm not sure this is the place for bug reports, but...

If the cursor is in the middle of the line of text and you hit Ctrl+Enter, Twitteroo inserts a line break before submitting.

Thank you. The best twitter client for windows.
Hope there will be:
- ability to receive/send direct messages;
- gui (custimizable; i'm sure if we could make it ourselves, there would be a lot of skins for twitteroo)
- bug "time of posted - 0 seconds ago for all of the posts" fixed

Just a few miinutes ago, my twitter list of friends suddenly was changed with a different set, like I was using a different identity. Re-inputting my username and password does not correct the problem.

Probably a twitter API change, or bug?

On what license you made the library? I'd like to use it and write an app on one of opensource license.
Oh, and I think theres a bug in TwitterooCore 'cause it crashes with this:

Can't anybody see that the download link is broken? I know I reported this days ago! Ø:-o

http://svn.tuesdaystudios.com/filedetails.php?repname=tuesday&path=%2FWest%2FMirror%2FTwitterooSetup.msi&rev=0&sc=0

I got a copy at work and have been using this program since a few weeks ago, it's really the best twitter client in my opinion! Please tell me if you know any better :D

Sorry you'll have to access through ugly WebSVN url, my filesystem is protected by password but WebSVN can bypass. Happy downloading!

When using the TwitterrooCore DLL, once I create the object and am logged in, is there any way to get to the userpic url?

For instance, if the current users has posted recently and shows up in the Friends timeline, the can obviously display that pic for both whatever tweet it was in the timeline and also in the other location I want. But if the current user isn’t in that timeline, I’m stuck… Short of have code to log the user into twitter.com’s website and getting the pic from there, I’m kind of at a loss….
