I was reading an article for my thesis (finding more references) and a link for Windows Mobile 6 came streaming across my screen. How could I resist clicking? I couldn’t 
Engadget has a bunch of screenshots of Windows Mobile 6.0 on their site. I doubt we’ll be able to upgrade phones… has anyone ever tried successfully to switch a mobile phone OS?

I just synced with my calendars ( I have two calendars, one for work and one for school) and I’m using a BlackJack.
Anyway. I only got some of my previous weeks appointments, and only 1 for the next 30 days. And the times are all wrong.
Is it me?
I had a samsung i730 before it had windows mobile 5 on it. Someone got a hold of the windows mobile 5 image and figured out how to flash it to the phone months before the official release was out. So yeah its possible but doubtful that anyone will spend time and money supporting updates for old hardware. Its much more profitable for them to sell you a new phone.

Your software is great. I only wish that it supported multiple calendars. I have been trying out different solutions to get my different calendars (work, school, etc ) synced with my WM5 Q and google calendars. All the software I have found so far either doesnt work or is a pay by month/year. I would rather donate $30 to someone providing a solid free product then pay $30 a year to get a similar product. I think others who search around for this type of program will come to the same conclusion.

Yes. You can upgrade to wm6 on some devices. I did it on my wizard.

I was pretty easy, and I must say, it is a welcome upgrade to WM5!

I just purchased a Cingular 8125 from Ebay that has Windows Moble 6.0 installed (obviously an upgraded OS) and it runs great. I haven’t had any issues with the software, and whats great is it does not have all the annolying Cingular pre-packaged graphics, logo’s and other annoying progams that just get in the way….
I wish I could tell you how the original owner did it, but I am just the lucky recipient…
Just upgraded to WM6 on my Dash from the T-Mobile website, so far everything works fine…
