Has GMobileSync made your life easier?

Posted on Friday 12 January 2007

People have been asking for a way to donate to the GMobileSync effort for a couple of weeks now. In fact, I’ve received a lot of emails and comments asking. If you’re feeling generous, please feel free to donate. Your donations help the GMobileSync effort!

I’ve added a PayPal button to accept donations of any amount.

  • Are you required to donate to use GMobileSync? No.
  • Will you get a special version of GMobileSync if you donate? No.
  • Will Nicole and I add your name and link to your blog or website on the GMobileSync Donors page? Yes!

If you prefer, as some comments and email indicated, to mail us chocolates or other fine gifts – send me an email and I’ll send you our address. :-)

Thank you, everyone!

You might wonder why donations aren’t accepted through Google Checkout. Well, as of now there is no easy way to accept a donation for any amount. Google Checkout will only allow you to buy items for a set value.

I am very appreciative of the work you’ve done and fully intend to pay my respect when possible. I’m looking forward to v1.3 so I can fully utilize GMobileSync to help me manage my calendar. In the meantime, I’m dealing with taxes and will determine the amount I can afford to donate after that - influenced heavily of course on the amount I hope to begin relying on your software. In the meantime, I will gladly donate a prayer and a shoestring. Sometimes you gotta tie it up to make it stick together… and in case you ever run out of duct tape, an extra shoestring is nice to have! Keep up the good work!

As soon as I’m able to use GMobileSync I will gladly make a donation. So far I can’t make it work.
